Best Buy
When I think about home electronics these days in Calgary, the first thing that pops to mind is Best Buy. They’re easily accessible and all throughout Calgary. Best Buy usually has some good sales on especially for special events like Black Friday and Boxing Day. My current two Samsung LCD TVs in the house were both purchased at Best Buy when some awesome deal was going on. I even got my Bluetooth soundbar from Best Buy as well.
Costco
Costco selection has traditionally been fairly limited and sporatic, but whatever they do have is usually good stuff and at a great price. Costco’s famous return policy and warranty is certainly something to consider when purchasing larger home electronics like a big screen TV. Costco also has an added bonus the other places to buy TVs don’t have: FREE samples. Absolutely try some free food samples while picking out the best TV for your home. Be warned though, for those not familiar, you do need a Costco membership to buy things at Costco which the other two retailers listed here don’t.
Visions Electronics
For those wanting to support the smaller local guys, Visions Electronics is the perfect choice. Headquartered in Calgary Alberta Canada, Visions has a good selection of TVs and various other home electronics. At the time of writing, Visions has a lowest price guarantee and will even beat the competitor’s advertised price by 15%. Nothing wrong with that! With 4 locations in Calgary covering each quadrant of the city, it’s not too hard to get to.
