CalAlta Auto Glass
I’ve been going to CalAlta Auto Glass for almost as long as I could drive. WAY back when, I had the windshield replaced on my Nissan 240SX as I had purchased it with a broken windshield. I liked them so much that whenever I needed a rock chip fixed, I would go back to CalAlta. They do have limited Saturday hours and wherever possible, I would wait until Saturday to get back to them. Staff is always friendly and no appointments necessary for rock chips. I’ve tried other autoglass places too, and never had issues with anyone’s fixes. So it just comes down to I like them better.
When I notice that a rock chip is starting to crack and I can’t wait for Saturday for me to take the car to CalAlta myself, I’d ask the missus to a Crystal Glass location that’s close by. Judging by the receipt, Crystal Glass has a much more sophisticated and fancier operation.
Deco (Parking Lot)
Sometimes, when I’m out and about and I REALLY can’t wait, then I’d think about using Deco, one of those orange tents in the parking lots. I don’t see them in the Summer really, or in the dead of Winter, so basically just Spring when I notice them. It’s a last resort for me, but like I said, I haven’t have a chip that’s filled from anyone spread more.
