Chinook Centre Calgary Shopping Mall

Chinook Centre is the largest shopping mall in Calgary and the only one currently with a movie theatre. There is underground parking as well as outdoor parking. Just a short walk from the Chinook LRT train station, Chinook Centre is easily accessible by car or transit. Anchor stores include Hudson’s Bay, Nordstrom ans Saks Fifth Avenue. Chinook Centre has a pretty nice food court and some attached restaurants such as Joey Chinook, Tin Tin Dim Sum, State and Main and Globefish Japanese Bistro.

Top 3 Best Pedestrian Walks in Calgary

Kensington Road NW

Kensington Road NW Calgary

Within walking distance from Prince’s Island Park and the Peace Bridge, Kensington has a good selection of little boutiques and unique dining experiences. I especially enjoy Crave Cupcakes at one end of Kensington Road and Chicken on the Way at the far end of Kensington Road. Parking is often troublesome, but I can usually find a spot on the street further West towards 14th Street NW. The interesting part of Memorial Drive with the iconic street sign is also nearby.

Top 3 Best Places to Fix Rock Chips in Calgary

I’ve been going to CalAlta Auto Glass for almost as long as I could drive. WAY back when, I had the windshield replaced on my Nissan 240SX as I had purchased it with a broken windshield. I liked them so much that whenever I needed a rock chip fixed, I would go back to CalAlta. They do have limited Saturday hours and wherever possible, I would wait until Saturday to get back to them. Staff is always friendly and no appointments necessary for rock chips. I’ve tried other autoglass places too, and never had issues with anyone’s fixes. So it just comes down to I like them better.
